A Country Harvest…

Fall is my most favoritest season. :) I love the crisp air, especially with this beautiful sunny September weather Edmonton has been having. I just want to go for long walks with Otis, drink london fogs or chai lattes, curl up with cozy blankets and tea. Wear all my scarves at once. Play board games with friends and family… eat yummy fall food and treats. Add being pregnant to that equation and times all those feelings by a million.

Day two/three – crsw

I’m on a quick lunch break from day three of the Canadian Rockies Songwriter Workshop, but I was up so late last night that I didn’t get a chance to blog about yesterday’s session!

Day one – CRSW

So to begin CRSW - Canadian Rockies Songwriter Workshop – to make sure everyone is on the same page. The first day has been more than I could have imagined. The last time I ventured off on my own for songwriting development purposes (Memphis in Feb) it took me a few days to get into the swing of things. Not that I really needed familiar faces as everyone here is so friendly and interested and genuine. I feel like we’re all friends already and we’ve spent about… 7 hours together so far.

I haven’t written a blog in a while, mostly because “these days” there isn’t a ton going on musically for me. I believe I mentioned Jered & I bought a new house with a commercial catering kitchen attached to it, back in December…

whirlwind weekend…

Remember that time I met Jann Arden?

Look at me, blogging regularly. This is most likely because I have had so much going on the past few weeks that I need to document it somewhere so I can look back on my life one day and remember all the amazing things I’ve gotten to do! As I’ve mentioned before, I am a bit of a contest junkie. If I see a contest, I enter it. Especially if it has to do with music or travel. Once upon a time I was the unluckiest girl in the world, never winning anything! Well, that’s changed a bit. These days more than one person has told me I must have a horseshoe up my…
